Chalice Camp is Back for 2011
Students are encouraged to Save the Date for Chalice Camp 2011! Chalice Camp is an opportunity for students from across the country to get first hand learning experience on worship, baptisms, planning services, and more.

Shelbyville Will Honor Heroes in September
On September 11, 2011, First Christian in Shelbyville will honor and celebrate all first responders in Shelby County. The congregation will also coordinate a multi-congregation public service effort.
First Christian will also begin a fall study series about the three Abrahamic traditions - Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Nathan Day Wilson, senior minister, says, "The series will address commonalities, differences, and how believers in the three traditions can promote the common good." |
