Matthew 14:22-33

Then he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds. And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, but the boat by this time was many furlongs distant from the land, beaten by the waves; for the wind was against them. And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear. But immediately he spoke to them, saying, "Take heart, it is I; have no fear."
And Peter answered him, "Lord, if it is you, bid me come to you on the water." He said, "Come." So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus; but when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me." Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, "O man of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."

NEWS FROM THE PEWS

Edward Rumsey and Rebecca Frischkorn were married on May 21, 2011, in Howe, Indiana. They will be living in Washington, D.C. Edward is the son of Guy and Susie Rumsey. Becca is completing her doctorate in Anthropology.

Anderson Joseph Sprigler was born to Meredith Muffy Holloway Sprigler and Joseph Sprigler on Father’s Day, June 19th. Anderson weighed 7 lb 10 oz. and was 21 inches long. He joins sister, Emma, in the family. Great grandmother is Janet Cunningham and Julia Holloway is a grandmother. Congratulations to all!

Josh Foster has a new address: Joshua Foster, 2962 Oliver Street, Bozeman, MT 59715-5076. He is attending Montana State University, studying Fish and Wildlife Management.

Andrew Foster graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in December 2010, with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy and is currently at sea on the USS Shoup, home ported in Everett, WA.

We received an email message last night from Bruce and Dawn Fuqua. They have sold their house in Bedford and moved to Elkhart, Indiana, where Bruce has a job. Our best wishes go out to Bruce and Dawn in their new adventure. Their mailing address is as follows:
